Corner of solitude

Bazza is the maintenance supervisor at work, in other words he is my boss. A lame assed boss who loves to inflict misery upon his workers. Yes folks if Bill and Ted was working for him in the same slave labour conditions as I am they would say to him “FAG!”

His favourite pastime is to cause horrific psychological injuries among his subordinates, us the maintenance personnel. One minute getting our hopes up by telling us we can have a week off, in particular next week. Then shooting them down again with a wry grin by telling us that not all of us can have the time off, and that he will choose the ones who will have to work next week. Unfortunately yours truly was one of the ones who have been chosen to stay and work next week. I am pissed off! So for having to make me go to work tomorrow and all next week you have become an inductee into the Corner of Solitude’s Fag of the week.

For those who are wondering who the hell I am, this is for you, apart from having sex my current interests are as follows.

• Book I’m reading: The colour of magic by Terry Pratchett, like I said I wanted to start reading all his novels from first to last.
• Music I’m listening to: The classic album by Anthrax; State of Euphoria.
• Movie I saw recently: Alvin and the Chipmunks, you know what folks? I was an Alvin and the Chipmunks cartoon tragic when I was growing up.
• Dessert that I love the most: Pavlova, it’s food’s personification of heaven.
• I go on the net: For five minutes a day to check my email, or ten to do a blog post
• Living in: Cronulla, near the beach.
• In my spare time: I like to jog of an afternoon, or sit down to do something creative, or do completely nothing at all.
• Working as: An Electrician/Fitter.
• Watching sport on Tv: Cricket, go INDIA!
• I’m a: Proud Christian, so get away from me you Infidels! less I smite thee, Har Har Har.
• I generally like to: Make a fool of myself, like develop a twitch in public and make people nervous.

It’s just that there is a big “BUT” getting in the way.

Here’s the list:

1. Buy an external hard drive, preferably one with a terabyte or greater of memory capacity.
2. Back up all the stuff on my computer with said hard drive.
3. Rip all my music from my cds onto my computer. I own approx over 200 cds of albums alone, not including singles or bootleg stuff, and also Lauren’s own hefty collection.
4. Upload all our dvds.
5. Back up this website onto my computer.
6. Get a new HD camera.
7. Purchase and install a new graphics editor such as the latest photoshop

For my next miniature steel sculpture I’m making a dragon. It’s something I can do at work when things get quiet. Work is always pretty full on but when it quietens down it gets really quiet.
